Dan Clayton studied a degree in painting at the Winchester School of Art, graduating in 2005 and now works as a full time artist. Clayton's work has been heavily influenced by abstract expressionism and artists of the the modern era in particular the work of Henri Matisse and pop artist Andy Warhol.
Clayton's love for music has become one of the main subjects of his work and thus influencing his ideas and subject matter, painting portraits of musicians and iconic figures using a pallet of bright colours and modern styles. Dan is also available to paint commissions.
